Part 2 of Summer Update
So I arrived in Utah feeling pretty good. I had to take my wedding ring off the beginning of May, so my hands had already pretty fat and swollen. My feet were still doing okay. The girls started swimming lessons with their cousins 2 days after we got there. I did a mom and tot class with Maeley and My sister, Natalie and her son, Preston. The girls (especially Emma) did awesome. Maeley mostly got more used to the water and by the end would actually jump from the edge of the pool. But Emma to start didnt even want to take swimming lessons, let alone stick her head under and now will swim 4 or 5 feet with her face in the water. Yeah progress! So the first weekend we were there, my little sister, Noelle and her husband, Jason invited us all to go to his parents cabin. Well about 2 hours after we are there, the kids were playing on the mattresses set up on the floor and Maeley starts crying and holding her arm. The only explanation of what happened was that she rolled over and started crying. Anyway, after 5 or 6 hours of debate, I finally decided to take her in to the ER to have her checked out. Emma stayed and had fun 4 wheelin and makin smores, while my wonderful Mom and I drove an hour and a half to Provo. She ended up having nurse maids elbow, where basically the radial head becomes dislocated. The doctor just moved her arm a bit and popped it back into place and within 5 minutes she was completely normal. Whew no broken bones to bring home to Dad! Myself on the other hand ended up pulling a muscle in my ever-growing huge stomach from holding and carrying her everywhere. That finally felt better a couple days after I got home. (2 weeks later). We did alot of swimming, sprinklers and a splash park with cousins and just took it easy. Other than that not a whole lot more happened. I really wanted to be able to see some friends but this trip just didnt allow. Needless to say I dont think I will fly byself myself with kids and being 7 months pregnant again. And there you have it, thats been our summer. Pretty much same ol routine now that we are home. One thing I am excited about, my countdown ticker says 40 days left, but the C-section is scheduled for September 15th so actually I only have 36 days left!! Yeah I so excited as Maeley would say! :o)
