My Bay Mae is 4!
I have been meaning to do this for a month now. I cant believe my little Maeley turned 4 June 10th. She is so sweet and loving, always wanting to cuddle and have anyone willing to "kickle" her back. (or arm or leg or tummy etc.. thats our secret to keeping her quiet in church.) Some of my favorite things about Maeley is she says at least 3 or 4 times a day "Mom, youre da best!" As you can imagine it melts my heart. She's pretty funny too, she loves to quote movies and uses them at the perfect time. Almost everytime she gets in her carseat, without fail says "mom I cant do it... oh I did it" all in one breath. I love that her alphabet doesnt have a "T U V" in it. I love that she cares more about getting her foot flipped when she bowls than hitting pins. She loves steak and whenever we eat it she says in robotic tone "I like beef!"
Some of my other favorite things she says are:
(she cant say her sp's, these are the best ones)
farkoley is sparkley
a foon is a spoon
frite is Sprite
Coymel - her webkinz dog named Carmel
socket milk is chocolate milk
yipstips is lipstick
A regular question is, "Mom can I have some of your farkoley yipstips on"
I love her cute cheesy smile that make her dimples deep as can be. I love her dark brown eyes like her daddy. We just love our bay mae and are soo grateful we have such a sweet little girl!

Big Month for the Browns

So I'll start with the most recent and go backwards this time. Jared graduated from Medical school on May 1st which happened to be our 11th anniversary! YEA! Happy Anniversary my Sweet Love! (I made a slide show for Jared and tried to post it but it wouldnt work:( It was to my new favorite songs 1,2,3,4 by Plain white T's and also Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Callie) I truly am lucky to be in love with my best friend! I love you Jared :0)
I wish graduation meant that he was done but alas no just one last step before we finally reach the goal. So two more years of residency. He is currently on anesthesia and has been a little stressed knowing he is in control of peoples lifes. This July he starts general surgery he has six months of, mixed in with some head and neck, plastics and some other surgery. Ive lost track of what he's doing since its constantly changing.
Another major accomplishment is I can eat milk products and drink milk YEAH!!! Ethan has finally outgrown his milk protein intolerance. I havent knowingly tried soy yet so I still have to read some labels but I am sooooooo excited to be able to have my beloved chocolate. Believe me I have had my fair share! Ethan has also cut his top two teeth (just this week). And the last (or actually it was the first) major event was Emma and I finally chopped our hair to donate to locks of love. We are both loving our new cuts and do not miss our long hair at all! Im curious to hear what you all think. LONG or short for me???

Ethan is 6 months!
WOW I cant believe how fast time flys! my baby is now six months (actually since Im so late in posting he is now almost 7 months!)So heres the break down of my kids:
Emma at six months- 14lbs 14oz, 26" long
Maeley at six months- 14lbs even, 26" long
Ethan at six months- 16lbs 4oz, 27.5" long
Maybe just maybe he wont be vertically challenged like his mom!:0) I couldnt believe he was 2 pounds heavier than Emma she was a chunky monkey, guess that inch and half really makes a difference to spread out the chunkiness. He is so fun, constantly smiling! He absolutely LOVES his sisters and watches them just waiting for them to make him laugh! And he laughs at anything they do. He loves to eat and drink out of my cup. He will not roll over because he hates, HATES being on his tummy (like emma) but he is sitting pretty good with pillows behind just in case. He is definently a momma's boy. He cries if I walk away from him. AHHH I need to get out more! His tummy still seems kinda sensitive so I havent dared to try any milk or soy. My goal is to make it to Jareds med school graduation May 1st and then when we go out I will order whatever I want! (and hopefully not pay for it for two weeks!) Hopefully I can wait, I have been craving pizza so much its crazy! Im not that much of a pizza lover, but oh the gooey melted cheese sounds soooo good to me right now! I guess as with all things in life, you never know how good you have it until its gone!

Emma's Dream

Emma brought home this on Martin Luther King Day (yes she went to school, they feel it honors him for the kids to learn about him all day-I think Bennington is the only school in the whole US that feels that but whatever) Anyway it just made my day. Her Dog is a daily conversation at our house. She knows she cant have a dog until Jared is done with school and we move back to Utah(hopefully). A couple months ago she told me that we can leave Maeley (since she's scared of dogs) and Ethan at my parents home and we can go get her dog, whose name changes almost weekly, after we drop off the moving truck at our new house! Oh wouldnt it be so nice if all things in life could work out the way a 7 year old imagines!
I just have to add, I love my sweet Emma, She is the biggest helper with Ethan. She has so much patience and can calm him down almost as good as Daddy can. Since Jared is gone alot, Emma is my lifesaver. She loves to play with him and make him smile. I am so proud of Emma she is a great student that LOVES to read and do her best. She also helps Maeley with her letters and cleaning their room. And she has a real love for the scriptures and makes sure that we read every night. She is very inquisitive and love to learn what the scriptures are teaching. She is a great example.

Ethan is 4 months!
I cant hardly believe my little man is now 4 months old! We had his checkup and he checked in weighing 14 lbs. Which is only the 33 percentile, but for my kids, he is the biggest. He also came in the 56th percentile for height at 25", which is also unusual for our vertically challenged family. (maybe we do have hope of some height)
I was given the go ahead for cereal, which I am always so excited about (dont ask me why) so we tried some that night and for the most part he just tolerated it. Not to excited, but didnt refuse it either. He did just get over an ear infection and so was on amoxicillin in addition to his axid for reflux and gripe water (to soothe his tummy from the amoxicillin). So my thought is that he thought it was just one more thing to swallow and then got sick of it when it kept coming. We are working on it and hopefully soon he will catch on to the spoon thing. I gave him his first haircut just before Christmas. (I know Im anal but it was turning mullet-ish).
He is such a sweet, smiley baby. He loves now to play with toys and figure out how to get them to his mouth. Even though he doesnt look happy in the picture, he really does like to sit in his Bumbo. Since he was sick, he will only take his binky when he is tired and wants to sleep. BUT has also found his thumbs! HE is constantly drooling. He loves to watch and talk to his sisters. They can get him laughing pretty good, its so cute. And even though the little guy only takes 45 min cat naps, I love him to death! Having a boy in the house has been alot of fun and Im excited for more to come.
